Frequently Asked Questions

When should I book overnight newborn care?

We recommend booking as early as possible—ideally around 6 months before your due date. This allows time to plan, reserve availability, and ensure we can best support your family during those early postpartum nights.

When should I book a postpartum care visit?

Postpartum care visits are best booked during pregnancy, especially if you know you’ll want support after delivery. If you’ve already delivered, don’t worry—reach out as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate you based on availability.

Do you offer prenatal visits?

Yes, we do! Prenatal visits allow you to meet with one of our registered nurses to prepare for the postpartum period with confidence. During your visit, we can review what to expect during labor, newborn care basics, pump education, breast milk education, and provide flange size fitting. Prenatal visits can be booked under The Essentials Visit.

Do you care for multiples?

Yes! We love supporting families with twins and triplets. Reach out and let us know which service you’re looking for, and we’ll provide pricing details tailored to your needs.

Do you accept insurance?

Our Registered Nurse visits are provided as private-pay wellness care. While these visits are not automatically covered under insurance, we happily provide the correct documentation for families who wish to submit to their insurance. Some plans may offer partial reimbursement, though this cannot be guaranteed.

Are lactation visits covered by insurance?

Yes. Under the Affordable Care Act, most insurance plans are required to cover comprehensive lactation support from an IBCLC. This means that your Nest & Nourish lactation visits may qualify for partial or full reimbursement. We’ll provide the correct documentation to support your claim.

Can I use my FSA or HSA card?

Absolutely. All Nest & Nourish services are eligible for payment with Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HSA). Many families find this to be the easiest way to invest in their care.

How do payments work?

Payment is collected at the time of booking. This allows us to keep care personal and flexible, without insurance restrictions. We provide the tools you need to maximize potential reimbursement.
