The Essentials Visit

An in-home registered nurse assessment focused on postpartum recovery, newborn observation and feeding, and early screening — helping families feel supported and confident.

    • 90-minute in-home visit with an RN

Gentle Start Package

Overnight Newborn Care

In-home, overnight support provided by a registered nurse to promote newborn safety, feeding support, and parental rest during the early postpartum period.

    • Overnight in-home care provided by a registered nurse

    • Newborn monitoring, soothing, and diapering throughout the night

    • Feeding support (bottle, breast, or expressed milk) and observation of feeding patterns

    • Promotion of safe sleep practices in accordance with current recommendations

    • Support that allows parents to rest while their newborn is cared for by a licensed professional

    • Light baby-related support as time allows (bottle prep, pump part rinsing)

    • Overnight care is provided in 6-12 hour blocks. It is usually scheduled between 9:00 PM–7:00 AM, with flexibility to shift earlier or later (for example, 8:00 PM–6:00 AM or 10:00 PM–6:00 AM).

    • A separate consultation or planning visit, if requested, is not included in overnight care pricing.

Rates vary by location, nurse experience, and customized care plan.

Lactation Consultation

An in-home or virtual consultation centered exclusively on infant feeding and lactation support.

    • 90-minute visit with an IBCLC RN

    • Review feeding goals and concerns

    • Observe feeding, latch, and positioning to support comfort and effective milk transfer

    • Support breastfeeding, pumping, bottle-feeding, or combination feeding

    • Provide pump guidance, including flange sizing, schedules, and return-to-work planning

    • Troubleshoot common feeding challenges such as pain, supply concerns, slow feeds, or reflux-like behaviors

    • Perform a weighted feed when appropriate to assess milk transfer

    • Offer education, reassurance, and clear next steps to help you feel confident moving forward

Back to Work

A virtual visit to support a smooth return to work, focusing on feeding, pumping schedules, and realistic strategies for balancing work and postpartum life.

    • 30-minute virtual visit with an RN

    • Create a realistic feeding or pumping plan for your return to work

    • Discuss milk supply support and common return-to-work challenges

    • Review milk storage, transport, and pumping logistics

    • Provide anticipatory guidance so you know what’s normal and when to reach out for help
