Terms of service.

Nest & Nourish Care provides supportive, non-medical postpartum services focused on wellness, newborn care education, family support, and certified lactation guidance. Our services are not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or emergency treatment, and clients are advised to seek immediate medical attention or call 911 in urgent situations. By engaging our services, you agree to provide accurate health information, maintain a safe environment during visits, and understand that Nest & Nourish Care may reschedule or decline services if conditions are unsafe or outside our scope. All services are self-pay, with deposits and payments generally non-refundable, though rescheduling may be accommodated at our discretion; cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full. By booking lactation or postpartum support services, you give your consent for Nest & Nourish Care providers, including Registered Nurses and International Board Certified Lactation Consultants, to work with you and your baby during in-person, phone, or virtual consultations. You acknowledge that consultations may involve physical contact as appropriate, including touching breasts and/or nipples for the purposes of assessment, observing a breastfeeding session with suggestions for improved latch or positioning, demonstration and use of equipment or supplies, and, if indicated, gentle insertion of a gloved finger into your baby’s mouth to assess suck. You understand that follow-up visits may sometimes be necessary, that supplies or breast pumps may be recommended as part of care, and that you are responsible for informing Nest & Nourish Care of any changes in your or your baby’s health status. You further acknowledge that your provider may use clinical notes or photographs, with your consent, for consultation with other health professionals or for de-identified education purposes. While Nest & Nourish Care respects your privacy and protects your information in accordance with professional codes of ethics for nursing and lactation practice, you acknowledge that Nest & Nourish Care and its independent contractors maintain their own licenses and liability coverage, and that Nest & Nourish Care is not liable for outcomes related to postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, or newborn care. All written materials and resources are the intellectual property of Nest & Nourish Care and may not be reproduced or shared without permission. By booking services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service and Consent for Care, which are governed by the laws of Louisiana.
